No Free Plan or Free Trial<\/h3>\n<p><em>If you want to use a tool, you\u2019d expect them to offer you a chance to test it before investing in it, right?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>That way, you would get to try the tool, see what it offers, and determine if it fits your needs before committing to it financially.<\/p>\n<p>However, you don\u2019t get that with SMTP.com.<\/p>\n<p>Not only do they not offer a free plan for users who want to try their tool for a few months, but also they don\u2019t offer a free trial of their email services.<\/p>\n<p>So, if you\u2019re hoping for a few free emails for a couple of months to work out how the tool fits your business, SMTP.com may not be the right tool for you. You\u2019ll have to spend $25 on their lowest tier plan just to <strong>test<\/strong> the tool for a month.<\/p>\n<h3>2. SMTP.com\u2019s Dashboard Isn\u2019t Very Intuitive<\/h3>\n<p><em>Once you complete that long setup process, you\u2019d at least expect a seamless user experience, right?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>But with the SMTP.com SMTP service, that might not be the case.<\/p>\n<p>SMTP.com has trouble showing sent emails in real-time on the dashboard. Additionally, it doesn\u2019t show you detailed information when you click on any email metric (Open rate, unsubscribe rate, etc.) in the dashboard.<\/p>\n<p><em>But the most frustrating part?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Whenever you relay an email through SMTP.com, there\u2019s a significant lag until it appears on your dashboard.<\/p>\n<p>This means that whenever an email is delivered to any recipient on your mailing list, there\u2019ll be a significant delay in displaying the email\u2019s status on your dashboard.<\/p>\n<h3>3. Lengthy Sign-Up Process<\/h3>\n<p><em>People invest in tools to make their work easier, right?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>But what happens when the tools you invest in actually make things harder for you?<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, with SMTP.com, that could happen.<\/p>\n<p>It has a sign-up process that involves a multi-day approval and manual review \u2014 and here\u2019s a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gmass.co\/blog\/smtp-services-review\/#smtp\">recap of my experience<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>First, the support team asks you to provide information about the nature of your business and your mailing list. You\u2019ll have to be prepared to inform them if your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/article\/352245\">mailing list<\/a> was purchased and where you obtained recipient information from, etc.<\/p>\n<p>They might also ask you to place a <strong>new page<\/strong> on your website to confirm your site ownership. Although their intention \u2014 to weed out scams \u2014 is worthwhile, this process is a highly inefficient way to verify ownership and provide approval for their service.<a id=\"perfect\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Plus, it takes a couple of days to sort everything out \u2014 so if you\u2019re in a hurry to send out bulk email, you\u2019ll be disappointed with the speed of their service.<\/p>\n<h2>The Perfect Email Companion for SMTP.com<\/h2>\n<p>Now that I\u2019ve covered everything there is to know about SMTP.com, it\u2019s clear that it\u2019s a great \u2014 but flawed \u2014 tool.<\/p>\n<p>While SMTP.com provides features like a powerful API integration and a premium email relay service, it also lacks a free plan and doesn\u2019t boast a great UI.<\/p>\n<p><em>But what if there were a way to take advantage of SMTP.com\u2019s powerful features without some of the drawbacks?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>There is!
