(The Google Sheet recipients turned into an alias, as you can see in the screenshot. (Let us know if it would be helpful for us to add other info here in the future.)<\/p>\n<figure style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gmass.co\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/emaillists-dropdown-tinified.png\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-8\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gmass.co\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/emaillists-dropdown-tinified.png\" alt=\"Pick your list from the dropdown\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1080\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<p>Choose your list from the menu then click the <strong>Okay<\/strong>\u00a0button.<\/p>\n<p>GMass will <strong>use that same alias \u2014 and all the emails it represents \u2014 for your new campaign<\/strong>. However, if any of those emails <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gmass.co\/features\/bounce-management\">bounced<\/a>\u00a0or the recipients <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gmass.co\/features\/unsubscribe-management\">unsubscribed<\/a>\u00a0after your first campaign, GMass will automatically suppress new emails to those addresses.<\/p>\n<p>And \u2014 if the reusable list came from a Google Sheet, you can <strong>use the same mail merge tags to fill in <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gmass.co\/blog\/mail-merge-personalization\/\">personalized data<\/a><\/strong><strong>\u00a0from the Sheet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gmass.co\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/emaillists-mailmerge-tinified.png\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-9\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gmass.co\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/emaillists-mailmerge-tinified.png\" alt=\"You can use merge tags when reusing email lists in GMass\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1080\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<h3 id=\"this-is-particularly-mavv\">This is particularly useful for a large list<\/h3>\n<p>My screenshot examples have featured a small list however, <strong>reusing lists is <\/strong><em><strong>especially<\/strong><\/em><strong>\u00a0useful when you\u2019re dealing with a large list<\/strong>. It takes time to connect a Google Sheet featuring thousands of addresses to a new campaign. But when you use the alias, GMass doesn\u2019t need to process all the data from the sheet again \u2014 so you\u2019ll have <strong>zero delay<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"what-if-you-change-s-ohsj\">What if you change someone\u2019s data in your Google Sheet?<\/h3>\n<p>Here\u2019s the situation. You send a campaign based on a Google Sheet. Then you update someone\u2019s info in that Google Sheet. Now you want to send another campaign reusing the list. When you use merge tags, will they reflect the new info?<\/p>\n<p>Yes. The <strong>merge tags are pulling from whatever is in the Sheet when you send<\/strong>, not from when the alias was created.<\/p>\n<p>However\u2026 if you <em id=\"how-to-grab-a-list-f-dejk\">add<\/em>\u00a0more contacts to the sheet, <strong>they will not receive the campaign you send to the reusable list<\/strong>. So if your Google Sheet had five contacts when you sent the first campaign and you reuse that list, only those five contacts will receive the message \u2014 even if you\u2019ve added more contacts since then.<\/p>\n<h2>How to Grab a List for a New Campaign (or Multi Merge Campaign) from the GMass Dashboard<\/h2>\n<p>You can also grab the email aliases for your reusable lists from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gmass.co\/blog\/dashboard-guide\/\">GMass dashboard<\/a>. While it requires a few more steps than the <strong>From a list<\/strong>\u00a0method I just demonstrated, you <em>will<\/em>\u00a0see a bit more info about your aliases this way.<\/p>\n<p>Go to the GMass <a href=\"https:\/\/app.gmass.co\/dashboard\/index\">dashboard<\/a>\u00a0and click on the <strong>Settings<\/strong>\u00a0icon to bring up the settings. Then click into the <strong>Email Lists<\/strong>\u00a0section and click on <strong>Manage Email Lists<\/strong>.
