I operate my own mail server for silicomm.com. Meaning, silicomm.com is NOT on G Suite, so ajay.goel@silicomm.com is NOT a Google account. However, I can still send a mail merge in Gmail from ajay.goel@silicomm.com.<\/p>\n<h3>Here&#8217;s how to create a mail merge from a non-Gmail address:<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Create a new Gmail account. For example, let&#8217;s say I create <strong>ajay.goel@gmail.com<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Next, I set up <strong>ajay.goel@silicomm.com<\/strong> as an <strong>alias address<\/strong> in my new <strong>ajay.goel@gmail.com<\/strong><br \/>\naccount.<br \/>\nHere is the documentation from Google that explains how to do this:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/mail\/answer\/22370?hl=en\">https:\/\/support.google.com\/mail\/answer\/22370?hl=en<br \/>\n<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gmass.co\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Gmail-Add-Another-Address2.gif\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2311\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gmass.co\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Gmail-Add-Another-Address2-1024x489.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"344\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gmass.co\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Gmail-Add-Another-Address2-1024x489.gif 1024w, https:\/\/www.gmass.co\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Gmail-Add-Another-Address2-300x143.gif 300w, https:\/\/www.gmass.co\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Gmail-Add-Another-Address2-768x367.gif 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/mail\/answer\/22370?hl=en\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Then, install the GMass Chrome extension from\u00a0the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gmass.co\">GMass homepage<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Then log in to the <strong>ajay.goel@gmail.com<\/strong> account and click any of the <strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">GMass<\/span><\/strong> buttons to link the account to GMass.<\/li>\n<li>Launch a <strong>Compose<\/strong> window, put in your addresses in the <strong>To<\/strong> field, set the <strong>Subject<\/strong> and the <strong>Message<\/strong>. Now be sure to change the <strong>From Address<\/strong> to the alias you set up in Gmail.
