Largely, that arrangement is all good for our 400,000+ wonderful users. While you can<\/em>\u00a0do quite a bit of stuff on your phone in this era, it\u2019s still hard to create and plan a full-fledged email campaign on a small screen.<\/p>\n However, there <\/strong>are<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0lots of things you can do with <\/strong>GMass when you\u2019re on your phone<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 not to launch campaigns but to monitor them, respond to their replies, handle some admin tasks, and more.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s what you can do with GMass on your smaller, more portable mobile screen.<\/p>\n GMass\u2019s main product is the Chrome extension which is desktop-only.<\/p>\n However, there\u2019s also a companion app you can use that\u2019s a <\/strong>Gmail add-on<\/a><\/strong>. And that works on mobile devices<\/strong>\u00a0as well as the desktop.<\/p>\n You can install the add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace<\/a>. (It\u2019s free, of course.)<\/p>\n Good news: <\/strong>Add-ons are added to your Gmail account, not just your browser (the way a Chrome extension is). That means: Once you install this add-on, it will be available in Gmail in your desktop browser AND the Gmail app on your iPhone or Android phone.<\/p>\n After the add-on is installed (and you\u2019ve closed then re-opened the Gmail app)…<\/p>\n When you scroll to the bottom of any email in the Gmail app<\/strong>, you\u2019ll see an info bar that says \u201cAvailable add-ons\u201d which displays logos of the add-ons you have installed.<\/p>\n Tap on the GMass icon. (That\u2019s the square with the envelope icon in it.)<\/p>\n The add-on will bring up your GMass history with the recipient of your email including:<\/p>\n You also have the option to unsubscribe that person<\/strong>\u00a0(or, if they\u2019re already unsubscribed, you can resubscribe<\/strong>\u00a0them). You\u2019ll find those options in the Actions<\/strong>\u00a0section of the add-on.<\/p>\n The add-on is a useful and unobtrusive way to get a quick overview of a contact<\/strong>\u00a0and do some light contact management when you\u2019re on your phone.<\/p>\n You can monitor campaign reports on mobile, and the simplest path usually starts in the Gmail app.<\/p>\n In the app, open up the sidebar<\/strong>\u00a0for your Gmail account. (On both iOS and Android, it\u2019s the three horizontal lines \u2261 on the top left.)<\/p>\n Then scroll to the GMass Reports\/[CAMPAIGNS] <\/strong>label.<\/p>\n Tap on the GMass Reports\/[CAMPAIGNS] label to see the automated reporting emails GMass sends after every campaign.<\/p>\n Then you can tap into any of those emails to get a campaign\u2019s details.<\/p>\n If you want to get even deeper and see real-time reporting, you can now tap on the real-time web report<\/strong>\u00a0link in the fifth row of that email. That will bring up the GMass web-based campaign report in the Gmail app\u2019s built-in browser, or in an external browser if you choose.<\/p>\n Note: You can also access the web-based report directly if you have the URL, you don\u2019t necessarily need to tap through from the reporting email.<\/em><\/p>\n You can get even more insight by tapping on any of the numbers in your report<\/strong>\u00a0(for instance, opens).<\/p>\n And you can export your reports as CSVs or Excel files, or export them to Google Sheets. Use the Download<\/strong>\u00a0menu at the top of this purple flyout panel (or click the download icons by any of the metrics in the report).<\/p>\n Now, from here, we\u2019ll use this web-based report to access The Reply Project<\/strong>\u00a0and send some responses to the replies we got from the campaign.<\/p>\n If you\u2019re not familiar with The Reply Project<\/a>, it\u2019s GMass\u2019s unique unified inbox tool that you can use to fly<\/em>\u00a0through the responses to your campaign.<\/p>\n (You can also use it on your inbox in general if you want to get to inbox zero in record time, but for our purposes today, we\u2019ll focus on the campaign reply scenario.)<\/p>\n You could, of course, just reply to the responses in your campaign one-by-one inside the Gmail app. But if you have a lot of responses to get through or you want to use templates or ChatGPT on those responses<\/strong>, The Reply Project on mobile will come in handy.<\/p>\n To access The Reply Project, tap the number of replies to your campaign<\/strong>\u00a0in the web-based campaign report you have open on mobile.<\/p>\n Then, in the flyout panel on the right, tap the link on top that says Reply to these emails with The Reply Project<\/strong>.<\/p>\n That will bring up The Reply Project interface (you may have to log in using your Gmail credentials).<\/p>\n The Reply Project will open all the responses you\u2019ve received in your campaign. (If you used GMass\u2019s MultiSend<\/a>\u00a0to distribute your campaign across multiple sending accounts, you\u2019ll see every reply in here to every address.)<\/p>\n You can write and send replies in the text box to the right of each of those responses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n You can also use ChatGPT<\/strong>\u00a0to write responses (using the ChatGPT icon button below the reply box) or create\/use your own templates<\/strong>\u00a0(using the envelope icon button below the reply box).<\/p>\n Then tap the Send reply<\/strong>\u00a0button to send the response. GMass will send your message through your Gmail account, shrink that email on the screen, and you can move on to the next.<\/p>\n We recommend reading more about The Reply Project<\/a>\u00a0if you\u2019re interested in learning more \u2014 it\u2019s a really powerful way to efficiently get through your responses<\/strong>\u00a0both on desktop and mobile.<\/p>\n While you can\u2019t create or initiate new<\/em>\u00a0GMass campaigns on mobile, you can<\/em>\u00a0edit drafts of your scheduled campaigns in the Gmail app<\/strong>.<\/p>\n To access the draft of a scheduled campaign, open it in either the Gmail Drafts folder<\/strong>\u00a0or under the GMass Scheduled<\/strong>\u00a0label.<\/p>\n Now edit the draft. In this example I changed \u201c15-minute\u201d to \u201c40-minute.\u201d<\/p>\n Then close out of the draft, which will save those changes.<\/p>\n Now when your campaign sends at its scheduled time, GMass will send the edited version<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Note: You won\u2019t be able to edit any of the campaign settings<\/strong>\u00a0on mobile, as those require the GMass Chrome extension. So you can\u2019t change the schedule, tweak your auto follow-ups, or anything like that \u2014 only the content of the campaign draft itself.<\/p>\n While GMass is primarily a desktop-based application, there is plenty you can do to administer and monitor your campaigns on your phone.<\/p>\nGMass on Mobile: Table of Contents<\/h2>\n
