It\u2019s a circle containing either an avatar if you set one\u2026 or the first letter of your name if you did not. Or you open your list of Google Sheets and it\u2019s the other account\u2019s list. This is a classic modern micro inconvenience.<\/p>\n<p>So <strong id=\"or-as-a-cleaner-opti-qcvn\">there is an alternative to use multiple Google accounts if you\u2019re using the Chrome browser<\/strong>\u2026<\/p>\n<h3>Or, as a \u201ccleaner\u201d option: Chrome profiles<\/h3>\n<p>With Chrome profiles, you set up different \u201cinstances\u201d of Chrome \u2014 where each one is only logged into one account.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s a way of <strong>keeping your various Google accounts more separated and siloed<\/strong>, and can eliminate some of the little annoyances that can come from having multiple accounts logged in at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>For Google profiles, click the profile icon that\u2019s to the right of the Chrome URL\/search bar and your extensions.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gmass.co\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/loginanother-profilesicon.png\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-6\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gmass.co\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/loginanother-profilesicon.png\" alt=\"Click this icon to create a new Chrome profile\" width=\"1999\" height=\"1170\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<p>Here you\u2019ll see all your Google Chrome profiles. You may have zero at this point. As you can see, I have WAY too many. That will bring up the list of the Google accounts you\u2019ve added to Gmail.<\/p>\n<p>For you, it is likely one account. If so, skip down to the next section on logging in.<\/p>\n<p>But if you want to connect an alternative email address, here are the steps (as per <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/accounts\/answer\/176347\">Google\u2019s documentation<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Go to your <a href=\"https:\/\/myaccount.google.com\/\">Google Account<\/a>.
