How to cancel your subscription to GMass’s mail merge tool depends on whether you subscribed with a credit card<\/strong> or PayPal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Credit Card Subscriptions<\/h3>\n

Two ways to cancel a credit card-based subscription:<\/p>\n

New Way:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Log in to our dashboard at https:\/\/gmass.co\/dashboard<\/a> with the account you subscribed. Then click Settings<\/strong> at the top, then Account<\/strong> at the left, and then the Cancel<\/strong> option.<\/p>\n

Old Way:<\/strong><\/p>\n

First, you must have the GMass extension installed.<\/em> If the GMass buttons aren’t showing up in your Gmail interface, then\u00a0it’s not installed. You can install it from our homepage<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Then, log in to the Gmail account whose GMass subscription you wish to cancel. If you don’t have access<\/strong> to that Gmail account anymore, log in to ANY Gmail account<\/strong> that is connected to GMass.<\/em><\/p>\n

1. Launch a regular\u00a0Gmail Compose Window<\/b>.<\/p>\n

2. Set the\u00a0To<\/b>\u00a0field to\u00a0cancel@gmass.co<\/b>.\u00a0Do not hit Send.<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

3.\u00a0If you are logged into the Gmail account<\/strong> whose subscription you want to cancel, leave the Subject<\/strong> blank. Do not hit Send.<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

If you are logged into a different account<\/strong>, put the email address of the account whose subscription you are cancelling in the Subject<\/strong> line.<\/p>\n

Set the Subject to the address of the GMass subscription you want to cancel, if you’re not logged into that same Gmail account. Here, I’m logged into ajaygoel@gmail.com but I’m cancelling the GMass subscription for ajay@wordzen.com.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

4. Optionally<\/strong>, please tell us the reason for your cancellation<\/b> in the Body<\/b> of the email. This is optional. Do not hit Send.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

5. Do not click the Gmail Send<\/span> button.<\/em><\/span> Click the\u00a0GMass button<\/span><\/b>. Your subscription\u00a0will end immediately, but your account will remain on its plan\u00a0until your paid period is up<\/strong>. So if you’re a monthly subscriber, you can still use GMass until the end of your monthly period. The same applies if you’re an annual subscriber. You will receive a message\u00a0in your Inbox telling you when your account will be demoted to free status.<\/p>\n

Important:<\/strong> Be sure to hit the red GMass<\/span> button, and not the regular Gmail Send<\/span> button, because<\/span><\/span>\u00a0cancel@gmass.co <\/strong>is not a real email address<\/strong>; it is a command<\/strong>. Hitting the regular Send button will result in a bounce. If you do not have the GMass button<\/strong> because you uninstalled the extension, you must re-install the GMass extension<\/strong> to cancel your subscription.<\/i><\/p>\n

So that means:<\/strong> If you receive a message from\u00a0<\/i>Mail Delivery Subsystem\u00a0saying <\/em>“Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:\u00a0<\/em>cancel@gmass.co, ”\u00a0then you have pressed the Gmail Send button. Try again, and be sure to hit the red GMass<\/span> button.<\/em><\/p>\n

Another note:<\/b>\u00a0It’s easiest if you’re logged into the Gmail account that has the GMass subscription you wish to cancel. But if you can’t log in to that account, you can log into ANY other Gmail account that is connected to GMass. We will then verify that\u00a0the logged-in Gmail account has\u00a0permission to cancel the subscription of the other account before the cancellation is final.<\/i><\/p>\n

Last note:<\/strong> Uninstalling the GMass extension does\u00a0not automatically cancel your subscription to GMass. Just like, if you remove the Netflix app from your mobile device, it doesn’t automatically cancel your Netflix subscription.<\/em><\/p>\n

PayPal Subscriptions<\/h3>\n

If you paid with PayPal, you must log in to your PayPal account<\/strong> and cancel your GMass subscription from there. Your GMass\u00a0account will be demoted to “free” account status within a few\u00a0minutes\u00a0after\u00a0canceling<\/strong>. When you cancel a PayPal subscription to GMass, you do not get the unused time<\/strong> for the month or year. Your account will be\u00a0demoted to “free” status right away and\u00a0its limits\u00a0will reset to the\u00a0free account sending limits right away. With credit card subscriptions, you would get the unused time.<\/em><\/p>\n

Bitcoin Subscriptions<\/h3>\n

If you paid with Bitcoin<\/a>, your subscription already has a pre-determined life, and it will automatically cancel after your paid time has expired. Bitcoin transactions are one-time transactions and are not recurring.<\/p>\n
